Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes Review

pearlofpalm

Today, I had the chance to visit Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes in Downtown Disney, Anaheim.

If you want to dine in, you need to enter the front door and line up. There is a separate line by Splitsville if you are only planning to order a shake to go. For dine-ins, you place your order at the register before finding a table.

We decided to order the Pizza Burger with sweet potato fries and the Cake Shake. The Cake Shake is one of three shakes that you can only order if you dine-in (the other two being the Sweet and Salty Shake and the Cotton Candy Shake). All other shakes are available for to-go orders.

The Cake Shake came out first which was surprising. It was a large piece of cake sitting precariously on top of a vanilla shake. It was also very generous with the rainbow sprinkles. Although the presentation was very nice, this shake was a bit too sweet for my taste.

Our Pizza Burger came out second. It was just a basic burger with some marinara sauce and fried mozzarella pieces. It doesn't look as presentable as the shake, but since I love all things related to pizza, I still liked it.

Our total was a little over $40 if you include tax and tip. It was a bit pricey for what is essentially just a burger and a shake, but overall, I still enjoyed the experience.
